  1. What is wrong with the Franklin Gothic Heavy “i”. It looks like a lowercase “L”

  2. It was incredible and wonderfully predictable that the energy level in the room *increased* as the evening progressed! ‘Particularly after the invitation to perform for Ms.Eccles. She had advised actors to consider auditions an opportunity to give what they have to the casting panels – a gift from the actor to director and not just an opportunity to receive a job. The Youth Shakespeare performers followed her advice naturally last night.

  3. Hi everyone,
Here is the schedule for this Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PLEASE BE ON TIME for your scenes.

Note that we have reached the point where we are rehearsing Act 1 for the second time. You should all be off-book for the Act 1 scenes.

    11 a.m.: Act 5, Scene 1
    12 noon: Act 5, Scene 2
    1 p.m.: Act 5, Scene 3
    2:30 p.m.: Prologue and Act 1, Scenes 1 and 2 (without books)

    Mr. R.

  4. I posted this image for Youthshakes’ Bard… I gave it no title so the distribution had to share it’s sequence number “1776”. The number is just a coincidence. I shall put some subject on future posts.

  5. Two or more actors in one role is natural for YouthShakes!
The youth came up with a two headed Caliban during October 2012 Fall Actors Workshops:

    “I must eat MY DINNER!”

  10. Quoting Audrey Rumsby:

“March 3rd, is the voting deadline for “Best Small Theatre Company” in the Metro Active “Best of Silicon Valley” survey!!! This is a fun and very quick survey to fill out, and I encourage you to do so right away!
If we get enough votes, our name will be shown in local news outlets.”
