The Comedy of Errors is being directed this year by Audrey Rumsby, our alumni and a professional actor. It is an excellent play for introducing anyone to Shakespeare. It is also an excellent use of Audrey’s talent for comedy.
Red Velvet is a exciting opportunity for our alumni and experienced players to perform a topical and modern play. This award-winning play tells the little-known story of Ira Aldridge, the 19th-century African-American actor who played Shakespeare’s Othello, Macbeth, Shylock, and Lear to great acclaim all over Europe. Nathan Sandoval returns to us, playing Ira Aldridge.
